Authenticated identities form the cornerstone of almost all security services, from access control, to key management, to privilege management.
DotSec has been developing and integrating authentication and identity management services for 12 years.
Beginning with Kerberos in the 90’s, DotSec integrated Kerberos with Web Logic Server via a custom authentication service provider back in 2002. That extended to include smart card support, and from there to SAML in around 2006.
Since then, we have designed and integrated two-factor authentication and public key-based authentication mechanisms, and we have designed and implemented identity management systems based both on SAML (the Security Assertions Mark-up Language) and Microsoft’s ADFS (Active Directory Federation Services).
Some of our more notable projects included the public key-based message-security services for APRA’s D2A online reporting service, the security infrastructure that supports the Queensland Dept of Health’s Clinician’s Knowledge Network, and an Identity and Access Management (IAM) infrastructure that is owned by SPARQ Solutions, and that is used by customers (domestic and contractor) of Energex and Ergon.
From the initial requirements analysis phase, through to development, integration and ongoing support arrangements, DotSec provides holistic secure-systems integration services.
